Our Branding Process

Good branding is a dialogue with your consumer, not a simple utility of business. Creating a well-defined, recognizable brand takes time and a willingness to ask hard questions about your communication goals. As the popular saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” and creating a world class brand is no different. Discovery is where we uncover your story and the unique history that defines the character and personality of your business. We work with stake holders to document that story and help define the differentiators that will set your brand apart among consumers. Once we have a clear understanding of where you’ve been, we can better help you tell the story of where you are going.

Before we actually design anything, we have a brainstorming session to come up with some key ideas that are most relevant to the communication goals of your business. Mood boards, color studies, examples of other designs that are similar to what you are trying to achieve are all collected and submitted for feedback so we clearly understand your vision.

To accurately execute your idea, we must clearly define and agree on the direction we have documented during the brainstorming phase of your project. We work with you to ensure the ideas and feedback we have collected is accurate and you agree with the best direction we have mapped out. A set of wireframes, low resolution mockups and / or list of concepts will be provided for you to approve. The approved documents will then be used to create your project.

Now that we have a clear picture of what you want, we begin the process of creating a set of high-resolution mockups of your mark. We take all of the previous input you have provided us up to this point to get very close to the vision right out of the gate.

From the high resolution mockups we provide, you simply respond with feedback on the things you like (as well as the things you don’t), and another draft is provided. This process is repeated until we have refined your design to meet all your expectations.

Once you are happy with the design, we provide you with the finalized proof ready in the format for which it will be used. We can also help you to continue managing your brand so that your communication across all mediums is consistent and clear. From your message architecture to style guides, defining customer persona and everything in between, we can help you deliver a message that converts new business.
