  1. I must say, this post is spot on for anyone that is new to WordPress and/or SEO.

I am pretty new to WordPress and have been teaching myself everything I needed to know. Have been using Yoast for SEO for all my websites on WordPress, but didn’t even know about the Video SEO plugin they had. Can’t wait to give it a try and see the results.

Also, the 301 redirect plugin is one that I am sure most WordPress experts know about and use, but like I said, being new to this, I had no idea.

Thanks for this. I will be bookmarking this page and hopefully taking advantage of many of these plugins suggested.

Excellent! I completely agree with you. I use most of these plug-ins, as well, but had not heard of nTopic. Going to be installing it ASAP to give it a try.

I just reviewed that plugin. I don’t see anything there that is worth paying for. A lot of the things it does are freely available (schema.org, directions on Google maps). It just seems to me to be a another plugin that will have to be monitored and updated in a WordPress install.
